Responsiblities

• Make sure that employees are regularly briefed, supervised and trained and also that any machinery or vehicles are maintained, upholding health, safety and security in the work place at all times.
• Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
• Provides guidance and direction to other warehouse workers.
• Examines items in inventory for defects, wear or damage, and reports this information to the warehouse manage to decide whether to accept or reject products.
• Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
• Conduct Quality checks on packaging and finished products.
• Conduct process check on existing Procedures.
• Evaluate complaints received on shipments of equipment and supplies and take appropriate action
